"[singing] Holiday...celebrate...I live in my sister's baaaaaaasemeeeent!" ~Robbie Hart.
Haha! Mullets are so gross. I love it!
The Wedding Singer is one of those romantic comedies you can’t help but love. It’s got all the nostalgia of the 80’s, mixed with 80’s awesome-ness (clothes, hair, music, etc). Although, all Adam Sandler movies really come off as the same, with stupid humor and the same jokes…this one sets itself apart. I don’t know if it’s because it’s set in a different era or what…but it’s one of his best. Maybe because it excluded Rob Schneider. Drew Barrymore…didn’t do a great job in this movie. It kinda seemed like she was reading cue cards…but…this movie in itself is really cheesy, so it was okay. If you haven’t seen this movie…then you definitely should! Especially if you loved anything about the 80’s…and even if you didn’t! Also look out for cameos by Billy Idol, Steve Buscemi, and Jon Lovitz. This really is a sweet romantic movie that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It really has something for everyone. Check it out! Now! Because of this, the jury gives this flick:
