It was not Andre. The second call was him. Dina understood it at once by Estelle?s smile, the sweet intonation of her voice. Dina was going to tell him something rude, but Estelle hang the receiver. It was Andre, - she told. ? he tells you hello. Estelle almost burst of laughing when she saw Dina?s face expression. ?What imprudent fellow?, - Dina thought. He even did not want to speak to me? . At home she made a scandal. She was shouting at him, crying, telling that he cared nothing to her, that he did not love her any more. She was telling many bad things about him. But never told that she would leave him. - Ok, I shall not call you any more if you do not want. That was all he replied. No excuses, no explanations. Stupid bitch, he thought. She wants that I only look at her? That would never be. I should take more care, otherwise she would make a child and make me marry her fat ass. He stopped calling. But he began joking. Andre seemed to have pleasure to make fun of her. Once, they three, were going to work. - There was no light today and I did not shave. Do you see? ? asked Andre showing his cheek to Estelle. - He is lying. ? Dina said. - Dogs are lying, and me, telling the truth. ? said Andre to her rather rudely and laughed. - You are nice even like that, - Estelle replied. Dina gave a nervous laugh. It was a flirt of two young people. She was the third, disturbing them. Andre turned to speak to Estelle, showing Dina his back. She could not allow that. - I broke my shoe today. ? She said in a loud voice, attracting their attention. - Really? ? Estelle asked politely but it was heard that she cared nothing both about Dina and her shoes. - Yes, and I repaired it by myself, - Dina said, being glad that they stopped looking at each other at least for a moment. - I always told that she?d better study to be a shoe-repairer. ? Andre said. ? She would reach more success there. I saw a shoe-repair dog-house over there. Go and sit in it, you will earn money from such a job. ? Andre said addressing to Dina. Estelle smiled but picked up her ears. It was completely impolite and rude from him. Whatever relations they had, they still lived together and he had no right to offend Dina, especially in front of other people. Dina said nothing, looking at the floor of the station. Why does she stand it? Why does she stand such an attitude? She should tell him to shut up. Estelle would never allow to speak to her in such a way. Suddenly, she remembered how Dina told Estelle the favorite phrases of hers ? ?he does not want to marry? and ?he is so impolite?. Estelle was surprised. He never talked to her like that. Maybe, he still stays with Dina because she allows him too much? But Dina could loose herself, in such relations, whatever poor personality she was. It was the first time that Estelle had a suspicious thought. Maybe, Andre is not so nice as she imagined? Indeed, a really nice and normal man would not stay with such a stupid and unpretty woman like Dina. Whatever Estelle guessed, she did not want to marry him ? it was not in her plans. But to spend some time with him in a bed that was another thing. Once Estelle wrote him an electronic mail. She knew that he would check it from home computer and Dina could see it. That is why she did not write anything special there. The letter began ?Dear Andre?, than the plot was about the weather but Estelle managed to write it in a very funny way. At the end of a letter she wrote ? see you later. Next day Dina came to work and began telling ? We got your letter. Yes, it was funny. But Andre was so afraid when he got it because I asked ? what woman writes you? And if he stayed, why did he enjoy hurting her? Dina tried to sound that Andre had no secret from her and that he showed her Estelle?s letter. But knowing Dina?s style of changing the reality in her stories, Estelle guessed at once what happened. Andre was checking mails and that time Dina came to see who was writing to him. As they both noticed Estelle?s name, it was too late for Andre to close the mail-box. He had to open the letter and read it because if he closed it, Dina would suspect something. And he got afraid because he thought that Estelle would write there something personal, something that would refer to them. But Estelle was clever and wrote nothing like that. For sure, Dina was not fond of ?dear Andre? though by style it was commonly used. But Andre sighed with relief that she knew nothing more. Estelle had a birthday in some days. She would prefer to invite just Andre and have a romantic dinner with him. She thought that if only he requested her, she would make with him. But definitely she would demand that he had to leave Dina before. Estelle evaluated herself too much to be just a lover to an almost married man. But it was in his power to make a first step towards sex, moreover, she saw that he was encouraging the intimacy between them, she saw the desire of love in his eyes when he was looking at her. A completely different man was Andre, when he was near Estelle. He looked a? - man decisive, full of energy and joy, seemed even a bit taller, was in a good mood. With Dina he was more sad, too thoughtful, indecisive, the one who had interests in nothing. With Dina he looked more older ? in his 25 he looked at 40?Maybe, it was too subjective? But one more proof was ? with some years spending with her he became completely gray-haired. So Estelle invited Andre with Dina, Nicolas, her friend, and some more friends of hers. The day of the party came. Estelle put on a black little evening dress ? it was very expensive (all Dina?s clothes cost less that one dress) and suited her very well. She made her hair free with some locks and curves. First came Andre with Dina. He had very elegant clothes ? black trousers, white-and-black jacket and white shirt with a tie. He put off the jacket later as it was hot. Dina had a funny red dress. The present for Estelle was a watch ? as if from silver, in a modern style. It was very nice, Estelle supposed that it was Andre who was choosing. Andre helped her to put the watch on her hand. He was looking and looking at Estelle ? his glance noticed her beautiful green eyes, then slipped down to her pink lips, to her breast, half opened by the dress. Her thin waist, her long shapely slim legs. He was also in love if it was possible with his egoistic character. Then Nicolas came. Estelle thanked him indifferently for the present. It was perfumes and she knew that it was expensive especially for him. ? What a smell, - she thought, putting away her nose from the perfumes. But she was very polite, diplomatique and said: - It is very nice. Some more friends come. No one had a worse dress than Dina. They began eating and telling Estelle good wishes in toasts. Andre was the first to speak. He understood very well that he was the main guest. Dina was out of humour. Then Estelle entertained the guests by telling stories about her trip, showing them photos and post-cards. Estelle and Andre had many topics that interested them both ? trips to different countries were discussed among them. She sat near Andre . they were openly flirting. Dina said nothing. Nicolas was sitting far and tapping on the table by his fingers. He felt ill-at-easy. And he did not like what Estelle and Andre were doing. Dances began. Andre invited Estelle and?it looked more like a vertical sex than dancing. He put his hands around Estelle?s thin waist, she put her hands around his neck. It was a tight hug. He was whispering something into her ear, touching her temple by his lips, doing slight kisses. She was smiling and caressed his hair, his back by her hand. They could hardly suppose how they looked like from aside as they noticed nothing except themselves. All people in the room were looking at them with astonishment - all what Andre and Estelle were doing seemed so harmonically and not vulgar at all. It was not just a lust, it was something higher and much deeper. They looked very nicely together. Dina also was looking and it made uneasy. Andre took no notice of her, he was not afraid of offending her in front of the eyes of other people. But Dina did nothing just looking. Later, Estelle would think and think about it ? that Andre did not behave well towards Dina and he could do so with any woman, does not mean who she was; that he did not deserve any respect if he could do so; that Estelle would never behave like Dina ? Estelle would come up closer to such a couple and give them both a slap on the face, and would tell them who they are and what was the real name of such dance; she would do so, she, always polite and decent, she would not be shy of other people because she would not stand that. But it is Estelle, not Dina. Poor Dina without self-respect. But now Estelle was enjoying the dance, presence of Andre, his touches, and his smell. She was hugging him, feeling happy. Suddenly she felt something hard near her hip. Oh, she thought, guessing at once that it was the proof of Andre?s desire to make love with her, with Estelle. Somehow she managed to stay virgin ? with her beauty and wisdom. Estelle was waiting for a real love. But she was not so innocent. Estelle immediately put her thin leg between Andre?s legs ? feeling more and more his hardness and warmth. ?If only we could go to the bedroom, - She thought. - I would push him on a bed, tear off all his clothes, I would sit on him, kissing and caressing him everywhere. I would kiss his lips, his neck, then going down to his chest and belly and then?yes, it would be a pleasure to kiss him there, to take it into the (the continuation of the novel is on the next page) Copyright © 2006 Victoria Z All rights are reserved. |

with Estelle. Estelle went home. Thought they did not even kiss, she enjoyed the time with him ? it was nice to talk and talk with him. Next day they spent some hours speaking by the telephone. Next ? met as if by chance. Next ? Dina came back. It was five days of absolute happiness as Estelle thought. It was five days of freedom as Andre thought. Part 6. Kiss in cheek. Dina was having a good time in her village despite of the annoying question about when she would get married. Was she loving Andre? Partially, yes. At least she liked him. He was good-looking, intelligent, rather rich. Dina wanted to enlarge her style of living, it was prestigiously for her to marry a man and live in the capital. She knew that any other man would hardly ever marry her ? or some men in the village would maybe agree. That is why she decided to persuade Andre to marry her ? it was shameful to build a family not on the basis of love, but on the basis of strange suitability ? she would serve him as a good house-wife and he would be her husband. But knowing Andre?s character, somewhere deeply in her mind, Dina was sure that sooner or later she would have to agree about his lover, another woman. Dina knew that Andre was seeing Estelle all the days of a Dina?s trip. But what could she do? Make another scandal with a hysteria? The previous was some time ago about ?you must marry me?. What if he told her that she should go away? Where should she go? Return to her village where people would laugh at her? Lived six years with a man without marriage and now he sent her away, - they would say. She does not have any self-respect. And where would she find a suitable man that would like her? That is why Dina preferred to say nothing ? as less as she could ? about Estelle and Andre?s relations and continued persuading Andre that she would be a good wife for him and serve him as well as she could and would say nothing about his friends. But Andre cared nothing about Dina. He was too selfish for that. One day he came to Estelle to discuss something about work. Before he went away, she kissed him on a cheek very close to his neck because he gave her a very good idea about work. Actually, she kissed him because she loved him and the idea was only a decent pretext. They smiled and she cleaned a bit her lip-stick on his cheek. When he came home, Dina noticed that little sign. More, during his walking he rubbed his neck on the shirt. Dina noticed it when she was washing his shirt. Now she had no doubts ? Estelle wanted to take Andre for herself. But why did she need him? She is pretty and intelligent and rich. She could find any other man. Dina did not want to give up. Estelle did not see Andre for some days and was missing him. One evening coming back from work she noticed someone standing near the entrance of her house. It was Andre. He was waiting for her. But as his eye-sight was bad, he did not notice her. She came up closer and he went up to her, pretending that he was walking along the street. He told: - I am going to meet Dina from work. - But why this way?, - Though Estelle. They never talked openly about their feelings and pretended that it was a kind of friendship, but both knew that it was not. But Estelle was glad to see him ? he was missing her too, he invented the reason to see her. He turned to accompany her closer to her house. They pursued their way against the wind, resisting it with laughing delight. 7. Party. But what was Andre feeling to both girls? I would tell you if I know definitely. I can only make a supposition what was going on in his, man?s, mind. He was using Dina ? she was taking care about him, looking after him as if after child, though she was doing it far from perfectly. He was still missing his mother, and such mammy-style relations suited him. With time he got to know that Dina would excuse him everything ? whatever offensive words he told her, how offensive his actions and behavior was towards her. But it was boring with her - being brought up in a rather poor village family she was rather limited in her thoughts and desires. For sure, there are many people who came from the poor families in the villages but they could develop their personality so well, could study to get a great education, could learn from other people so much that they would fit any high society ? they would only need some time to get acquainted with everything there and acquire the needed knowledge. But Dina was different. Despite she graduated from the Institute, she still was speaking her ?half-language?, a terrible dialect, talk that uneducated people used to speak in villages. Despite she saw many young girls around, very fashionable and stylish, she had no real taste. Once she went to choose a new coat and bought the one which made her look many years older than she was and when she was putting on her favorite fur hat, she might seem having grand-children. Dina sometimes did not put attention to cleanness. She could wear dirty clothes, could come to work with dirty hear? Estelle was not perfect either. But with her Andre had interesting and intelligent talks, he enjoyed looking her, her pretty face and thin figure. When they were together walking along the street, they looked very well, they suited to each other. Both tall and slim, both having a very good taste in clothes, both loved cleanness and both had high desires ? to achieve something in life. But Andre understood that if he chose Estelle, she would not play in ?son-mother? relations as it was with Dina. Estelle thought that if two persons in the couple work, they should divide the house work. She never considered herself as a maid, never could even thought to be someone?s servant. He would have to wash his clothes by himself, to iron them by himself, to wash dishes when it would be his turn, to cook? But from another part, he would have a great sex ? he was often imagining in his fantasies how he would make love with Estelle? With Dina it was every time the same, she never liked or offered something new. For that time he decided to choose nothing and leave the both relations as they were. Using two girls, making them both suffering, it was not the object of his attention. He was getting pleasure and did not care about other people. Such was their ?friendship?. Andre demanded new and new meetings with Estelle. They often spent time together. Estelle, Andre and Dina. Dina was far from being glad because of that, but she could do nothing. At least, she thought, they are in front of my eyes and they are not making love. Poor Dina, she did not know that when she was away, the situation became more dangerous for her. Estelle would prefer to date just with Andre, but Dina was always in the city, so Estelle thought ? better to see Andre in any case. Andre gave promise to none of the girls. He saw that they both liked him and it was sweet for his self-estimation. Andre had a birthday. Estelle knew it by chance. She heard Dina speaking by telephone. As it was the end of a working day, she had no time to go shopping. She came home. What present to give him? She found a new leather little visit ? card portemonnaie. Andre was glad that Estelle paid attention for his birthday. In some day, also by chance, Estelle saw that he was using it, her present! It was nice. Andre got into habit of calling to their work. They had several numbers but he was calling to the one which Estelle had. Having spoken with her, he asked to give the receiver to Dina, told her some inventive stupid words, and hang up the receiver. At first Dina was glad that he was calling ? she was not used to have his frequent attention to her. But when she realized that she was only a reason to speak with Estelle, Dina got angry. At home she asked him what the matter was, Andre, making innocent eyes, told that other telephones were occupied and that is why he was using the one that Estelle had. Good excuse. He made no conclusions after the conversation with Dina and continued calling. Dina saw how Estelle was waiting for his call ? Dina was watching and spying. As soon as the telephone rang, Estelle took the receiver and told hello in such a voice that anyone understood ? she was speaking with a beau or lover. That day it was one call. ? Estelle spoke fast and hang the receiver ? (the continuation of the novel is on the next page) Copyright © 2006 Victoria Z All rights are reserved. |
