Another Scoop
1987
Ah, and back to the Scoops. Another Scoop! Can never have too many Scoops. This time not one, but two CDs of demos by none other than Pete. Again with songs from other solo albums, Who albums, and various songs that were recorded but never really released on any major album. Nevertheless, there’s even more laughter in store on this album with “Football fugue”, and especially “Vicious Interlude”. But also the liner notes, mustn’t forget the liner notes! Of coarse, there’s the songs that are so very well done such as “La-La-La Lies”, “Never Ask Me”, “Ask Yourself”, and so many more. This would have to be one of my favorites of the Scoops. Creepy Crawly? A nice solid 5. Well deserving, wouldn’t you say?
