BBC Sessions
2000
Ok, this album has two things going for it~ first thing- the whole album is live from radio. Live is always a plus in this recorded world of ours. Second thing- there is commentary made from the band on a good portion of the tracks. Which reminds us, take a look of the tracks! Wouldn't those tracks sound good live? Well, hell yeah they do! Very nice! There's also a couple of mishaps, one being during "Long Love Rock" when Pete forgets the lyrics, laughs it off, and continues on as any guitar-smashing Englishman would do. Smooth. We think this album is a good medium for Who fans, serious or not. If you have half of The Who albums, go ahead and get this one. It balances everything out in the end. We give it a nice, hearty Creepy Crawly 4 1/2!
