Left For Live Deluxe
"Left for Live Deluxe"... could there be a more perfect way to end a John Entwistle Album review? I think not. This album contains all the songs of the original "Left for Live" and sooooo much more! Not only do you get to hear John talk and laugh with Lacky #1, Lacky #2, Lacky #3, and Lacky #4, but you get to hear the rock-awesome Buzzard Bass throughout the whole album. Another plus is the fact that you get TWO cds with it! Twice as many Johns, twice as loud. And though John is a great musician, you get the feeling that he's mortal when he royaly messes up on "Trick of the Light" (Believe me, it's actually a delight to hear it happen!)... "If we stopped a song everytime I make a mistake, we'd be playing in fucking Morse-code..." That John was always good for a lark! I also love the many different introductions to the songs. I whole-heartedly suggest that you run out an buy this set of cds! You will not be disappointed! This album for surely gets a Creepy Crawly factor of~ 5... I would give it more Creepy Crawlys, but Saren will then have (under contract) permission to shoot me in 1 vital organ... 5 I say!
