| I cannot describe to you in words how much this album kicks ass... it's unspeakable about how much ass this album actually kicks... But if you must know, this album kicks sooooo much ass. This is recorded from a series of concerts that John and his happily named band of lackys called "The John Entwistle Band" (creative, isn't it?) did. The tour was named "Left For Live" after changing the name of a song from another album (which is funnily enough, not included in this track list) called "Left For Dead". If you want a taste of what the Buzzard Bass sounds like, pick this album up! I love all the songs and I love hearing John sing with his lackys! Another great thing about this album is that you get to actually get to hear John talk and laugh! Something you Who fans aren't use to hearing on live Who albums. John's personality really stands out when the concert revolves around him and his bass playing. Again, great fun to hear John actually TALK on stage and jam on that bass of his! Even though his lacky (let's just call him lacky #2... there are 4 of them) takes some of the vocals, you can always hear John doing backup vocals with a booming (deep) voice. Don't worry though, John has a good portion of vocals for himself as well. One of the best songs on this album would have to be John's version of Pete Townshend's "The Real Me". I actually like the way John sings it more than I do Roger Daltrey. Also, "Under A Raging Moon" a song sung by John as a tribute to Keith Moon, his fallen band mate. I have no choice but to give "Left For Live" a perfect, Creepy Crawly score of~ 5!!!!!!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!! | ||||||||||||||||||
