Mad Dog
This album has proved that John has various different sounds. This sound is more of the 50's rock'n roll beat. Personally I have heard better sets of songs. NOT at all saying the album isn't good, because it is. This album however, doesn't quite hold my interest as much as other John solo albums. The highlight on the track list for me is "Cell Number 7" in which John sings about getting arrested and spending the night in jail with the rest of The Who, ending the song with "Me and Moonie were in cell number seven- He dribbled on my jacket in cell number seven- Snored like a goat- Ruined my coat". I thought it was a grand old lark! I also thought it was kind of awesome when I found out that the cover is a picture of Jason (John's favorite Irish Wolfhound), playing... though he looks vicious like Cujo... I give Mad Dog the simple Creepy Crawly rating of~3. Not too bad.
