Psychoderelict (Music Only)
1993
One major thing separates this album from “Psychoderelict”… the obvious absence of spoken dialogue. This can be both good and bad. At times the dialogue is quite humorous and tells a very good story in itself, backed by the music. However, in doing so, the talking is played over the music, which distracts the listener from the most excellent songs of Pete! The “Music Only” version is the answer. Well, it’s not him, other artists deserving of recognition, and the shiny baldness herself, Chyna all join in as part of the “Psychoderelict Family”. Anyways, it’s nice to have both albums. Some songs, such as “Flame” are played during a large amount of talking. Problem solved on this album. I give this album, as well as Psychoderelict, a nice 4. It’s a very nice album. A great listen with a great story.
