Two Sides of the Moon
Well, I think if you are a major Who fan, this cd is is a MUST have. This is Keith Moon's one and only album and I must say that it is quite a laugh! He his occasionally joined by fellow drummer, Ringo Starr on the two tracks, "Together" and "Together Rap"- where, they practice their crazy-drummer attitudes and antics. Though this is fun album to own, I must warn that it features only Keith singing... and we know how that is. True, he did do a great job on The Who songs, "Bell Boy", "We Close Tonight", and "Girl's Eyes", but he puts on a different front... This album has more of a novelty taste to it if anything at all. There is no actual musical substance to the album, but don't get me wrong! I love it- the versions of "The Kids Are Alright" and "In My Life" are crazy-funny! Another great feature in this Keith-like package would be the comments between each song- "Do you think the Beatles will ever get back together?". Helps us remember the Keith we all know and love. Again, no musical quality for me, just great to have around! I give "Two Sides of the Moon" a Creepy Crawly~ 3 1/2 ~Not too bad.
