This album is a shoe in for anyone who wants an all around great John Album. There was a lot of effort put into the songs because it was a soundtrack for a Saturday morning cartoon called "Van-Pires"... don't ask me what ever happened to it, because I don't know. In anycase, the album has GREAT songs on its list! It even includes a track called "Bogeyman" which has Keith Moon's original drumming on it! What a treat! All the songs are awesome with the exception of two (for me anyways), "Good & Evil" and "Don't Be A Sucker"... never could get into those two, but that's ok! All the rest of the songs more than make up for those two. "Darker Side of Night" introduces an eerie setting for the rest of the album as well as "When You See The Light". The real resolution songs here would have to be "When the Sun Comes Up" and "Face the Fear". "Endless Vacation" describes what's it's like to be an out of work rock star and "Back on the Road" discribes a bored-to-death Entwistle, who is stuck at home with no audience to listen to him. "Rebel Without A Car" basically discribes me and Saren's life and "I'll Try Again Today" gives you a sence of hope... John's story in the inside sleeve is pretty funny too! All in all, an album that the public can enjoy! BUY IT! It recieves a Creepy Crawly~5!!!!! | ||||||||||||||||
