Jarrod Tyler
After a late start to the show ring, Jarrod as gone from strength to strength over the past few years.  Melbourne Royal 1998 was a highlight for his whole family, with Jarrod winning the Junior Boy handling class (7-12 years) and their German Shepherd Aust Ch Kezziah Ardent Fantasy taking out Best of Breed.
In 1999, Jarrod was placed third in the Pedigree Pal State Final and over the past 4 years has won the Handlers at the Working Dog Club of Victoria.  The year 2000 saw him enter the Senior (12-17 years) age group where he won the Boys section with his favorite handlers dog "Squeeze", an Australian Shepherd who recently passed away.  Squeeze's registered name was Aust.Am Ch Ebbtide Main Squeeze (Imp USA).
At present, Jarrod is having great success in the breed ring with his own GSD, "Bailey" (Aust Ch Shepbrae Our Royal Spark AZH), taking out a great number of Best in Group and In Show awards under both local and international judges.  In 2001, Jarrod handled Bailey to Best Exhibit in Group (Group 1st) at the Melbourne Royal Show (the largest Canine event in the Southern Hemisphere).  That same year (and not too many months after) Jarrod handled Geordie (Aust Ch Khayoz Soul on My Mind CDX ET) a Border Collie to Australian Bred in Show at Victorian Womens Kennel Club Champ Show (one of the states largest after the Royal).
14 year old Jarrod also competes in most group rings with many successes.  At the moment, he is involved in 2 breed websites development, them being The Australian Shepherd Club of Victoria and also the ANZASC (Australian and New Zealand Aussie Social Club) official website.  He feels that his involvement in all aspects of breed, junior handling and breeding has helped him grow and to hopefully make him a compassionate, well known member of the dog showing community.
