Jue Zhan Zi Jing Chen-
The duel

Starring Andy Lau and Vicki Zhao,
Honestly, if I wasn't a fan, there would've been no other reason to see the movie. It's kind of like Dejavu  in terms of bad, ugly filming and weird storyplot. This time, we've got Vicki, a princess in some distant dynasty, falling in love with Andy, a would-be assassin of her brother, the emperor. Anyone seen Vicki's Sword Girl (aka Xia Neu) ? Same idea basically. What makes this movie slightly more watcheable than Dejavu is that it is actually kind of funny sometimes, especially those parts with the supporting actor whose name I can't remember. The other appeal is that Vicki is completely still in Little Swallow mode in this movie. It's like they plucked her out of HZGG and placed her in here. And after seeing her dodge these crazy, loud-mouth roles in recent years, it was pretty reminiscent to see her "back in the days" as a cute, humorous character. Here's the clincher: even her name in this movie is eerily similar to Little Swallow: Golden Swallow. Beyond that, there isn't much I can say about this movie besides that it is another typical martial arts flick. I once heard there was a juicy kiss between Vicki and Andy, but honestly, you call that a kiss? As for Andy Lau, I've never been that into his hype, and this movie doesn't make me a bigger fan either. I'm more into his music. Overall, unless you're a fan of the stars, this movie isn't that worth your time. Go watch HZGG or something...
