About Me

Hi there! I assume your here because you want to know something about me. Well alright. My name is Vickie and I live in Plano, TX which is just slightly north and east of Dallas. I am a native Texan and have lived in Texas my entire life with the exception of about 2 years. During those 2 years I lived in a very small town outside of Macon, Georgia and I loved living in Georgia. I even picked up their accent for a while, but it did not take long to lose it once back in Texas. Course we all know Texans DO NOT have accents. LOL. I am curious how you found my web site if I did not send you here because I do not promote it so please send me a note and tell me if you have the time.

I have two grown children and no pets at all at this time because I am too lazy to run up and down stairs to take them out at all hours of the day and night in the heat of summer and the cold of winter.

Interests

I enjoy doing things like going out to dinner, or to a movie, bowling, boating, swimming, snorkeling, nature walks, walking on the beach, reading, cookouts, gardening, crafts of almost any kind, and just about anything anyone else likes to do. I also like watching DVDs in the comfort of my own home. Shopping is an occasional thing, but I am not really that big on shopping.

Hobbies

I love tinkering with the computer and working on graphic and web design. I enjoy most crafts and have done crochet, art crafts, and rug weaving various other types of crafts. The kids and I used to make all of our Christmas ornaments and I let them hang their own creations on our tree. Now I am thinking its time to make new ones for their trees. I also have a very nice collection of Indian artifacts I have collected over the years and put a few of them in a shadow box which proudly graces the wall of my living room.
