We had a great weekend, playing and learning.  Trim had another bunch of visitors, all of whom are plotting ways to steal her.  She is such a happy girl & I'm sure she knows that all these people are coming especially to see her.  She met 3 new dogs, 2 border collies and a dalmation.  She is so polite with other dogs and has perfect body language.  She is however a little racist and chose to ignore the dally in favour of the more familiar breed.  All 3 were very gentle with her & it was a great experience.  We also went for a walk, just her & I and she trotted after me like she'd been doing it all her life.

She has started offering behaviors & will sit or lay down whenever I go near the fridge, eat something or pick up a toy.  She is not really biting me anymore & when she does, gets really upset if I cry "ouch" & will start to lick me.  She really is a very loving little girl & still chooses to sleep beside my desk.  I think she's given up following me constantly from room to room & seems to know that I'll come back here.  A couple of times when she's been really tired, she's just taken herself off to her crate.  She no longer cries at all going into it.  I learnt at 6.30 this morning that leaving toys in there overnight are not a good idea, because her playing can be just as noisy as her telling me she wants to come out.

Trim saw her family today.  She was ecstatic to see her Mum Bryte, her Aunty Lil and 3 of her brothers and sisters.   She played to the point of exhaustion and was really happy to be with them.  There's nothing like seeing a puppy play with other puppies, you could watch it for hours...and we did.

After seeing them again, Trim had to say goodbye today to Della, Trick and Jet as they headed off to their new homes overseas today.  I know I will hear of their progress and I will be sure to keep her updated on how they are going.
We went to agility training tonight.  She handled the atmosphere very well and was quite intent on watching the other dogs do agility.  She had lots of cuddles from lots of people and was pretty much happy to sit in my arms and watch everything going on.  When firecrackers went off on the next oval, she didn't even flinch or seem to notice at all.  I'm going to have to get used to people thinking she is an Australian Shepherd, but I had certainly had enough of it last night, after the 10th person asked why she had a tail.  She is still doing the racist thing and wiggled with excitement every time she saw another Border Collie.

Given her interest in agility last night, I did an experiment today.  I got my pause table out and asked Zeus to "go table".  He did, very enthusiastically, landed in a drop & I gave him a reward.  The second time I asked him, she was up there with him.  In a 5 minute session, she was flying on to the table, laying down & waiting for her treat.  It's a small one, perfect size for her.  Boy it's going to be really hard not training her in agility until she's 2...she's just so keen to have a go...at anything.

We had a busy weekend, fixing up the outside of our new house.  Trim was a great help & eager to be involved in everything we did.  We've definitely ruled out any sound sensitivity.  Today she experienced the hedgetrimmer, the wippersnipper & the lawn mower.  The only one she even reacted to was the lawn mower & I'm pretty sure that was to the dustcloud in our front yard, rather than the noise.  Within a minute, she had closed her eyes & was asleep in my arms.  Having had one who is terrified of loud noises & another who is stimulated into barking at them, she really is a breath of fresh air.  I guess it helps that there is a building site next door & the noise levels are pretty much constant, (constantly loud).
