Scavenger Hunts	30 required, 3 pts each, neatness- 10 pts
Biology Scavenger Hunt	Project for collecting materials  based on biology topics.
Environmental Science  Scavenger Hunt	Project for collecting materials  based on environmental topics.
Brochure-	10 stories/facts about Environmental News occurring locally-  10 pts brochure, 9 pts /story. Must be a story-not a sentence. etc.
Interview	2 interviews- 50 pts each. 1 page, typed/interview -10 pts each-(total 20) 10 questions/interview-4 pts each. -80 pts (total 100)
Film-	10 minute film per participant- Provide  accurate information on an approved topic Minimum 25 facts- 3 pts each.(75 pts) 25 pts-presentation
Research Paper	Content 50 pts   (typed) 4 pages X 5 pts/each = 20 pts;  5 sources-3 pts each = 15 pts  MLA report form- 10 pts Correct Bibliography 5 pts (1 each)
Calendar	Each month- 2 pt picture, 1 pt caption, 5 facts/month-l pt/fact = 96 pt  Neatness- 4 pts Not using the correct topics will lose 2 pts/month
Folders/Collections	25 folders- Pictures- 2 pts each = 50 pts; Species-  Scientific Name, common name, where found, alien/status,  cause of their dying off/affect on the ecosystem.     ( 4 facts- Y2 pt each) = 50 pts Elements  (name, symbol, atomic number & mass- 2 pt each),  2 uses- I pt each = 100 pts
Newspaper	25 News articles 3 pts each, = 75 pts, 5 pts brochure, 3 pts white pages,  3 pts date at top of page, 2 pts black ink, 5 pt division pages,   2 pts numbered pages, 5 pts neatness.

Read Book (Teacher's choice)	Read- Oral/Written Report (2 pages typed)-  50 pts, 2 questions-25 pts each
