Zoe: *chuckling* Alec nudged Zoe and Auntie turned around to see what was so funny and everyone walked along quietly and pretended nothing had just happened. Auntie carried on walking and looking at each bus stop to see which one had the right bus. Zoe: God, I thought you wouldn't have much energy after that match. *rubbing the arm he had just nudged*. Anyway it wasn't me who made that comment about... Vicki just stared at Zoe and Zoe shut up afraid of another kick or something. Alex: Haha If you say another word you're arm will be nudged off le haha Zoe: I know ma...I helped the most and how do they repay me? Alec aimed for another harder nudge and Zoe ran in front grabbing the bags off Auntie and helped her find the right bus stop avoiding the 'nudge lovers'. When they reached the mini restaurant in Kowloon Zoe's mother told her that her father would be back the next afternoon. Vicki: *whispers* NMG Zoe: Oh No...I nearly forgot... Auntie: You forgot what? Zoe: I can't make it to the airport le. Mum: Why? Zoe: I need to go to NMG. Tommy: What's NMG? Vicki: It's a music company Mum: Oh is it for that dance thing? Especially her Auntie (her Dad's older sister) who basically says all the rules are the same as the old films you see on TV with the Qing Dynasty and everything. The next morning Zoe went to NMG to meet up with the other chosen club managers and founders and a person from the NMG company had sent out someone to tell them what to do and taught them dance steps. Alec went to find Vicki. Someone knocked at the door of Vicki's house and her mother opened the door. She found a young child of around 8-9 years-old standing at the door holding a small teddy. The teddy had a little pouch in front. Boy: Is Vicki Jie Jie in here please? V.Mum: Vicki!! Vicki: Hello. Are you looking for me? Boy: Gege told me to give you this. Vicki: Gege? Mum: You know who sent this to you? Vicki: Thanks Vicki saw a miniture card inside the pouch of the bear and carefully took it out. She read the message inside... Vicki: Mum I need to go out for a bit. I'll be back soon. Mum: Will you be back by dinner? Vicki: I'll probably be at Zoe's. Mum: Ok, have fun. Vicki: Bye Vicki went down to the nearby park and saw Alec sat there already waiting for her. She turned quickly back and hid back behind the bushes thinking what she should do and what she will say. Just then she felt someone pat her on her shoulder. She turned round... Alec: Why are you standing here? Vicki: What did you want me for? I got to go to Zoe's soon Alec: Erm..about what happened... Vicki: STOP!!! Alec: Huh? *puzzled* Vicki: Can't you not mention it? Alec: Then are you...are you still talking to me? Vicki: You going to Zoe's too? Alec: Then.... Alec didn't know how to put the question to make it sound nicer. He wanted to ask her if she is still willing to be his girlfriend. Vicki: You finished? Ok bye... Vicki starts walking off and quickly Alec said I'm going too and held Vicki's hand and smiled. He carried on walking. |
