Among the outer western isles, upon an island there,
lives in peace and harmony, a bonny maiden fair.
The princess rules this misty land with dignity and grace,
her long red hair cascading 'round an angel faery face.

The virtue of her soul is pure, her heart will not be broken,
her love she grants in smiles and laughs, and in the words unspoken.
In bygone ancient times she lived, as still she does this day,
a spirit lass of loch and glen, beneath the sky of gray.

Along a crescent coast she walks, the rolling sea beside her,
the cold wind blows and dark clouds weep, raining on hair of fire.
And through the standing stones she threads, pillars of the sky,
moving through the mists of time, the princess never cries.
