A Bird In The Hand
By Derek Benfield

When Max’s wife Sylvia returns after only 24 hours of a trial separation, he isn’t exactly overjoyed. Neither is his old sparring partner Harry who has got wind of the imminent divorce and has set the wheels in motion to recapture the romantic successes of their youthful days of bachelordom. Sylvia watches with much amusement as her hapless husband tries, and fails, to appreciate the delights of freedom.
This is a gentle comedy about marriage, attitudes and relationships, but mainly about two men who have completely different views on the subject of matrimony.
