Banana Boy
I sit in the cafeteria waiting for my friends to arrive.  2 friends, 3 friends, no friends. My mood changes, but not my appetite for bananas.
Sometimes I will stand while eating my entire lunch.  Only when I’m alone.
I’ll often enjoy my banana while I’m thinking of hot days and even hotter nights.
Men sometimes cross my mind.
I like their well-rounded baggage claims.
My friends have arrived.  I’m filled with special banana dreams.  Tickle me please.
My mother used to say, “A banana a day keeps the women away”.
She was right.
My medication comforts me after I’ve eaten my banana.
Dumping the entire jar of pills in my hand and slowly but surely remove them all until one is left.
My throat isn’t wide enough.  Take caution, don’t choke.
Fear not little friend.  I’ve made it though another day.
