Here is a list of some of my favorite things to do and some of my hobbies that I enjoy while I am not busy studying.
• Soccer: I have played goalkeeper since I was eight years old and I continue to play today. I was offered more than ten different scholarships to play college soccer at universities such as McMurry University, Mary-Hardin Baylor University, University of Texas at San Antonio, and the University of Texas at Permian Basin. I rejected all offers and decided to come to Texas Woman’s University to pursue my Bachelors in Psychology because there program is well known and approved by the American Psychological Association.
• Cars and Trucks: My dad and I have drag raced for many years and I love it. We have a ’66 Mustang with a 289 and it runs! We haven’t raced her lately, but we plan on getting back into action in a few months. We also love to go off-roading in my dad’s Jeep Wrangler which is always a blast.
• School: Believe it or not, I love school. Since I am at school so much and always working on homework, I might as well make it one of my hobbies. The one piece of advice I will always share with others is to, “Stay in school as long as you can, education is the only thing that no one can take from you.”
• Fishing: I love to fish and the lake is where I go to relax. Whether I am with my family or by myself, I always have fun.
• Camping: This is my favorite summer past time. My family and I always go camping over the summer to relax and catch up on stories they have missed out on because of me being in college. |
