now for my collar, I went down to a petsmart and bought a collar. (but I got wierd looks when I was trying it on, especaily since i had just come from ballet and I was wearing my tights and body suit.) now you can make one yourself, but you can make one that looks really good too. all you need is to go down to wall mart , buy a cheap 5 dollar black dog collar (plain, no spikes. those cost extra), some golf tees, and maybe some fake jewls. For my Jemima collar I took my plain black dog collar (which was HUGE!!!!!!) and cut it to my neck width and then took some painted golf tees and glued them on. it has actually stood up to lots of time being thrown around and stuffed in a closet. I didn't think that it would be that strong  but I guess it is. one tee has broken off in the year that I have had it but that was because of me being stupid. (lol, don't ask!) Many cats have collars, and they are all different. some have spikes, some have ribbons, jewls, and studs. a good way to make one is to use velcro (spelling. help!) on the ends. I havn't done that yet since only one character I have done actually had a collar, and by the time I learned about that it was too late.  I got pics of the different collars, and this is the best I can do in one sitting:

these are easy. you just buy em' like that!

for the ribbon, all you have to do is go out and buy the right amount of ribbon in the colour that you need. not hard. none of the cats from the movie have ribbons, but many do in other productions.

umm.. you could prolly make the ring out of clay and glue it on. but then you would have to make the spikes out of clay too.

you can make the spikes out of clay, or use the tee meathod, or just buy a spiked collar.

for hers you can just braid yarn or whatever you can find around your house.

now, I'm just putting this one up here because if your making up your own character, you will want a collar that fits your cat. think of a Victoria with a jet black collar. it would stand out too much so they make it white.

AHHH! big picture! lol, for the gems, you can find some ceep jewl thing in craft stores, then you can glue or sew them on.
