You can pick these up from Wal* Mart, Craft stores, and Ebay. They make for an interesting, but really neat looking tail. It doesn't take much time at all. just attach a cord on to it and whee, you have a tail. if you want, you can tie (or glue or whatever you want) a little weight to the bottom (a really small one that you can hide under all the feathers) so it gives it some weight and I think it looks better like that.
Fake Fur:
done just the same way as the Fake Fur Warmers, just buy some fuzzy fake fur and cut a long skinny rectangle. then just sew it into a tube and stuff it. this is good for Mr. Mistofolees and Skimbleshanks.
Yarn:
this is the way that I like the best. It is authentic and easy at the same time! now isn't that what we all want? There are 3 ways to do this, and no, you don't even have to fray the yarn! whee hee!
Meathod one:
just cut a whole bunch of yarn to the length that you want it (the longer the fuller) get a cord (you can buy a cord, or you can braid it with more yarn) and just glue on all the peices. one at a time. easy? yes. does it take long? yes. does it look good? no. I mean yes. (lol, yes, yesm it looks normal!)
Meathod two:
you can take 2 or more (I wouldn't go for more than 6) pieces of yarn lie them becide eachother. Then tie them all in the middle, so that you are left with a knott and "legs" then, take a needle and thread and sew it on to a cord.
Meathod three:
take a cord, and lie it down. then take 2 or more pieces of yarn and tie them onto the cord and shove them down. this is the fastest way, and it also makes it flexable. I like this way the best.
Admetus:his is brown, white, and some off- white colours
Alonzo: his tail is mainly white with 3 black stripes at the top.
Asparagus:he has many shades of brown and some white
Busstopper Jones: all that you have to do for his tail is go down to the superstore and buy a 2 cent tail. BSJ's tail is the easyest to find (besides Quaxo)
Bombalurina: hers is just a little bit longer then the others. its black, white, gray, with lots of red, then tiny bits of other colors
Cassandra: now hers is different. Cassies tail is 3 fat rope-thingys that are braided together. her tail is brown with a white tip.
Coricopat:mainly black with chunks of white, and a few red things
Demeter: black and some gold but it has alot of white in it
Electra:hers is just different shades of brown, and white and stuff
Etcetera: it is off white with some splashes of color
Exotica: she has a black braided tail.
Grizabella: now Grizzabellas tail is jet-black and drags a few inches on the ground.
Gus: his is very long and shaggy. it has brown, black, and white.
Jellylorum: *cringe* hers is mainly white with some browns and yellows.
Jemima:awww she is so cute! but anyway... she has a black and white tail. you should stick some red in it
Jennyanydots: well, hers has tiger stripes and leopard spots.
Macavity: its spikey black red and white. I think it has a bit of orange and yellow in it too
Misto:his tail is about 3 or 4 inches off of his butt and it is very...very...very...VERY... SPARKILY!! hee hee hee. it is NOT made of yarn or whatever, it is a peace of material that is sewed together.
Mungojerrie: his has a white tip, and its white, brown, black, orange and yellow
Munkustrap: munku's tail is black with some silver thrown into it in places. it is a tad bit longer then the rest of tyhe others. the tip of it touches the floor.
Old Deutronomy:long, long, big, big, and grey. (and some white)
Plato: it has dark borwns in it and some white.
Pouncival: knida dark but mainly browns and white
Rumpleteazer: . her tail is just past her knees and it has a white tip, and it has brown yellow and white
Rumpus Cat: now don't even ask I am not going to even try to figure this one out.
Rum Tum Tugger: his is black and gold (and white too)
Skimbleshanks: Oh boy! Skimbles tail is attached to his his vest and only goes to his knees. like Mistos it is material that is sewed together (get your parents to sew it. it would save you a lot of grief) if you are making his corus costume, just the basic brown, white, gray and stuff

Tumblebrutus: his has a white tip then some browns and white
Victoria: what are you coming here for? anyone should be able to see that its white. if you want the tour/b-way version, it has some bits of a creamy-off white colour in the video, her tail is a bit shorter than the others. it just goes to her knees, not past.
just A note...
I found something out. if you want to create a spikey effect like on tugger or macavity. by attaching the yarn on upside down, this will make it fray out all cool and neat. if you dont trust me one this one, try it. or if you have already made one, turn it upside down. cool, eh?
