A CHANCE MEETING

As he entered the cafe and waited for a seat,
He glanced over the room and their eyes did meet,
She was sitting by the window, sunlight on her face,
To him she seemed the most beautiful in the place.

She motioned for him to join her in a seat at her table,
His mind was in thought, was this fact or just fable,
He got his composure and then walked to her side,
He had never felt this feeling, heart and pulse racing inside.

They each ordered dinner and talked all the while,
Each time he looked toward her he got a beautiful smile,
The feeling was electric, it could be felt in the air,
Were there others around them, both were unaware.

They were caught up in the moment without a care in mind,
This feeling between them was a wondrous rare find,
This chance of a lifetime was lying in their midst,
Without a word their eyes met and then they kissed.

After this meeting never again were they apart,
They married and forever, lived with great love in their hearts.
