Great Job Kevin,

Like I said in a previous post. I hope Victoria see's this. It would be great to see her make a comeback. The Tejano industry needs her talents.

Take Care,

Rick Garcia

*11/12/05: Attention all Victoria fans - Hacienda Records is now offering the complete set of Victoria y Sus Chikos' albums for the low price of $8.95.  That's right: "Preparate", "Que Rico", and "Cada Dia Que Pasa" together for $8.95 total!  Follow the link from my main page to Hacienda Records' homepage, and order from their online store.  While you're there, you might as well pick up a copy of "Video Jukebox Volumes 1 & 2", and add Victoria's music videos to your collection!

*9/24/05: Check out my review of Victoria's "Cada Dia Que Pasa" on cduniverse.com.  Here's what a Hacienda Records executive had to say about it:

Thanks Kevin for submitting this review.
I hope Victoria sees it, wherever she is. I was talking yesterday to Roland Gutierrez, who co-produced that CD with me. We would both love the opportunity to work with Victoria again. She has such great potential to be a huge star.

Take Care,
Rick Garcia

*8/6/05*  The latest rumor swirling on the Hacienda Records message board is that Victoria is pregnant.  Perhaps, if the rumor is true, this will be her second child.  Maybe her mysterious disappearance from the music scene 2 1/2 years ago was due to another pregnancy?

*6/4/05*  Victoria's still around, guys!  See the comments below from Hacienda Records executive, Rick Garcia:

Video Jukebox Volume 4
Posted on May 28, 2005 at 07:52:54 PM by Kevin Goss

Several months ago, somebody at Hacienda told me Video Jukebox Volume 4 was going to be released soon, and that it would include Victoria y Sus Chikos' "Muerdeme" video. I hope this is still in the works. I would buy it just for that video. Victoria was the most exciting Tejano artist since Selena. It's too bad she quit performing.

Hey Kevin,
Thanks for the post. Video Jukebox 4 is still in the works. We keep adding new videos to the compilation. The latest is Jesse Marroquin's "Dulce Amor". It's a killer video that is being added to VJB 4, for public release. And yes, "Muerdeme" by Victoria will also be included. We agree, Victoria was a most exciting Tejano artist with a great future. She recently came by the offices of Hacienda to do some radio drops for our Hacienda Radio Network, and we did briefly speak of her resuming her career. At this point I do not know what her career plans are, but all of us at Hacienda wish her the very best, she's a great talent.
The talented & mysterious Victoria Galvan
