SLP Post-Renovations

Left: The new foyer (elevator is behind me). Now once you walk from the elevator there is no longer a glass barrier in front of the elevator. As you can see the secretaries desk is now off to the left instead of straight in front of the elevator. Straight ahead is a new plasma TV set and behind that is a new interview room, and a monitoring room (these are seperate from each other). The monitor room has new equipment such as 6 flat screen televisions. Below: The new Library (behind the glass windows, behind the couch). This is a little bigger but much nicer.

Left: Looking towards the elevator. As you can see the glass partition is gone. The bathroom entrance is also changed. They added new doorways and new facilities (adult and childrens toilets). As you can see the floors are also new. All floors in SLP, including bathroom, classrooms etc, are new. All lighting, heating and A/C is also new. Each classroom has its own A/C & heating unit so each teacher can control his/her classroom temperature.

Right: The new Library (behind the darker glass windows, behind the couch). This is a little bigger than the former and much nicer and cleaner. Of course it no longer doubles as the monitor room and a library.

Left: Looking straight towards the former Origin room (gone), the former teachers room (also gone) is behind. The elevator and stairs are to the left. Above: This was where the old couches were for people waiting to be helped. Now it is the entrance for the bathrooms.

Right & Below: The new teachers room. The former Balance room John's Office and the the C room (I think C room, it was the obscure room beside John's office) were ripped out to make way for the Teacher's room. The shelves are new and Stephano's has his own "office" (below picture). John's new office is where Kate's room (Alpha) was before. However, Kate's old room is now partly John's office, the library and a new classroom. Huge changes happened on this side of the school. Basically on this side, nothing aside from the Energy classroom is the same and even that got a major makeover.

Left: The Hallways. They got ap ainter to make art along the walls of each hallway so they look nicer, plus it makes the place look a bit less pale. The school is really white no and a bit sterile, however its much better than the past. The Energy room is off the the right (the orange door immediatly to the right). All classrooms also have new names and new order. They follow the ABC's but now A classroom is where Nations used to be. The classrooms also have names of things in the universe.

Above: The new Playroom & Auditorium. (Formerly the old teacher's room and part of Balance room) The left picture is looking from where the old photocopiers were and the other from where part of Balace room was. It is pretty big and the kids love it. We have some new toys and some shaped cushiony-pillowy things for the kids. They have them all stacked in the corner of these pictures. They always make castles. On the left picture you can see the stage and behind it the projection screen. We can see huge movies on the 6 foot screen, plus they have a nice audio system too.
