Re:- Other ports in Pohang, Ulsan, Masan, Yosu and Kamchung. Dear Friends, You may need to know that we either visit or have links with other ports in South Korea. Your local minister may have copies of the Seafarers Newspapers so do ask to see them Ulsan. We visit this region every two weeks on a Sunday to take a communion service in english at the Foreigners Compound. Time 1030. This is opposite the Hyundai Shipyard. Do feel free to come and join us. Give me a ring and I can work out how to get you there. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx We also visited a car carrier, MV Asian King, and met the Captain, Chief and the Shipping Agent. Thank you for your hospitality. Pohang. We frequently have phone links to ships at this port. We then link you to the ITF Inspector or talk with you about the problems you face., Yosu. We visited a ship that had requested a Mass when a crew member had died. Masan We have not yet visited this port but we are always ready to do so. Kamchung. The Korea Harbour Evangelism member, PastorPark, regularly works this port, but we visited recently at the request of a Captain who needed Korean bibles and Praise books for two of his crew. The Korean International Maritime Mission were able to help supply the books. Do not hesitate to contact us. There are also Korean Anglican Ministers nearby to your port who know something about your seafarer situations and they have local contacts in your port area. Mothers Union May we thank all the ladies for the very hard work knitting hats for the seafarers. You gave us 197. They go to men who work in severely cold conditions and so are extremely grateful Thank you. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Every blessing 23/12/2003 Fr Vic |

Wow! The party at Pier 1 Mission went really well. We had 80 seafarers there from six nations and 16 ships.. Thank you so much for all the hard work of preparation of food and decorations and singing. Well done everyone.23/12/2003 |
