Its nearly Christmas by V.I Vivian If 'nearly' turned to 'never', Christmas Day might never come. Mary's, "Yes" might turn to "No", then Jesus'work had not begun. He'd be still up there in Heaven waiting for a heart to say, " You are welcome, come what may Lord; come into my life today. If 'nearly' turned to 'never' Easter Day could never come. Banished then we'd be forever:no eternal life begun. We'd be just a mass of people with no shepherd by our side. In a jungle of a rat race, swimming thus against the tide. But 'nearly turns to 'always' in God's graceful benediction. Jesus dwells in all His fulness- nothing held back no restriction. Jesus gathers all unto Him, seeks the lost, the maimed, the dying; Brings them to the place eternal, no more sorrowing or sighing. May "its nearly Christmas" lead us, therefore, to regard God's grace As a wonderful remembrance that God loves the human race. |
May you all have a Happy Christmas. |
