Devil Hunter Yohko:
Epsiode 1-6 (a tape each), around 45-60 minutes each.
When I started to get into japan animation- i zoomed to the nearest rental video store.
There was couple of anime tapes, so I took few. This one was one of them.
After watching this, I decided I love action scenes.
Devil Hunter Yohko have the best action scenes I've seen- considering the idea that it was made in late 80's to early 90's. It was animated with step-by-step smoothing drawing. I'm sure everyone who saw this, would agree with me that the transformation was indeed, the best piece of this.
The transformation look so smooth and quickly because it used alot of frames compared to any other scenes. I am really impressed with that!
When I heard that there was more after that, I tried to find it at the same rental video store- no luck. I tried others until i found the tape that have two and three in it.
It was much better- more improved animation and the fighting scenes still kick-ass!
Yeah, bla bla on the action scenes, what about its plot? does it have romantic? humor?
Humor- definitely! It's wild and silly.
Plot? Basic: normal schoolgirl (jeez, almost all anime series start with a normal schoolgirl!)
who found out she's the 108th generation of the Devil Hunters!
Gasp! Gasp! Confused and klutz! She's in middle of searching for the right guy... to.. break her 'it'. ^_^
I would say it's action-humor more than romantic, if there was romantic- it's always end up with funny remarks or kung fu battle in the end.
So I've saw 1-3. I skipped 4 becuz it's only a music video. I then downloaded 5 one somewhere in mirc a while ago, and watch it. But I never finished it, i was in the halfway probably. But it was not bad tho. Last, 6- same thing, i found it somewhere on mirc. Same thing, I was in halfway finishing it. More like i only saw the first 10 minutes of it. =P
Overall, it gets better (i meant the animation, action, bla bla, but if u meant nudity- it went LOW after the first one).
