Death Promise (197?)
"I'm gonna blow your miiiiind!!!"
Director: Robert Warmflash
Starring: Charles Bonet
This movie is simply a must see.  Incredibly entertaining the whole way through, it is clear the filmmakers had some form of "Death Promise" (if you will) for landlords in general.  It starts off with an incredibly serious-sounding narrator who slams landlords and is never heard from again.  Two karate masters, one Puerto Rican, the other a black soul-brotha, team up to get revenge upon the Board of Stereotypical Landlords who murder the Puerto Rican guy's dad (ably played by some kind of poor-man's Ernest Borgnine).
This has one of the best/funkiest theme songs ever in
any movie performed by the ultra-obscure soul group Opus.  Loaded with non-sensical dialogue and mind-bending plot twists, we all feel like better people for having seen this movie and you will too.  If you have seen this and enjoyed it, check out "Gang Wars." Its nowhere near as good but it seems like it may have been influenced by Warmflash's work.
