Someone we watched this with called it the most interesting movie he has ever seen. No lie. It was as if the directors put everything that was remotely popular in the 80's in the movie and figured it was a slam dunk. Its actually a poorly executed mish-mash of half-baked ideas. Which isn't to say it wasn't also very entertaining. It starts out as an action movie, switches to a soft-core porno flick, then its a teen romp, then there's ninjas, arabs, mexicans, sci-fi, horror (a Jason knock-off), and an evil computer program. Lets not forget the older brother from Mr. Belvedere, Hall of Famer Yaphet Kotto, and a mustache guy who refuses to open his mouth yet somehow manages to deliver the most dumbassed dialog this side of "Sweet Revenge." If you love the 80's...check this out. Recommended. | |||||||||||||
