ABOUT THE WARRIOR BAND
The Warrior Band is from Montoursville Area High School. The band program is intent on helping young musicians become talented, competent performers; and life-long students of music, specifically instrumental music. To achieve this goal of the music program the Warrior Band supports the following ensembles: (1.) The Warrior Concert Band; (2.) The Warrior Marching Band; (3.) The Jazz Factory; (4.) The Warrior Concert Percussion Ensemble; and various small wind ensembles, including a brass ensemble.
The Warrior Band has built an extensive performance resume in recent years. Locally and as far away as Toronto, Ontario and Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. The Warrior Band has also performed for many civil ceremonies in recent years. The most notable such performance was to greet then Vice-President Dan Quayle at the Lycoming County Airport.
