ADRIAN RICHTER

Adrian Richter got his first cello lessons in 1967. He studied at the music academies in Lubeck, Hoff and Augsburg. The prominent music professor Fred Book played a key role in his artistic development. Since 1978 he has participated in different chamber ensembles and given a number of solo performances. He played as cellist in the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Augsburg, an later as group leader in the Bremerhafen Symphonic Orchestra. In 1998 Adrian Richter participated in the "Thracia Summer" Music Festival with a solo recital and a world premiere of the Third Symphony for cello and symphony orchestra by Peter Richter, performed together with Thracia Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Nayden Todorov.
