GIOVANNI ANGELERI

Giovanni Angeleri, born in Padova in 1971 of musician parents, started to study violin at the age of six and made his debut when he was eleven years old with a concert dedicated to Mozart Sonatas and Paganini Caprices. He  brilliantly completed his musical forming with Piero Toso, Salvatore Accardo and Michael Frischenschlager. Numerous are the prizes won by him at International Competitions,"Prague Spring" of Prague, "Lipizer" of Gorizia, "Paganini" of Genoa, "UNISA" of Pretoria, "Huml" of Zagreb, "Kreisler" of Vienna and others... In quality of soloist he performed the most important Concertos of the Violin repertoire accompanied by various Orchestras, among them: Brno Philharmonic, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, "Estro Armonico" of Venice, Wiener Jeunesse Orchester, Ploiesti Philharmonic, Orchestra del Teatro dell`Opera di Genoa, Transvaal Philharmonic, Wiener Kammerorchester ... During the 1996/97 season he made his Debut in the Musikverein-Grossersaal - Vienna, playing the Paganini First Violin Concerto with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra conducted by Leopold Hager.
