JULIUS HORWATH

Julius Horwath, born in Bratislava, Slovak Republic, graduated as "the best student" the National Conservatory, where he studied with professor Alban Wrtel. Since 1991 he is studying with professor Michael Frischenschlager at the Vienna Music University. He worked also with professor Grach and professor Pereny. 1989 Julius Horwath won 3. prize at the "Beethoven" competition, and in 1990 he won 1. prize at the National Competition - Bratislava. Solo- and chamber concerts in Hungary, Poland, Slovak Republic, and Czech Republic. Julius Horwath is member of the "Solistes Europeens" - Luxenburg. In 1997 he participated in "Thracia Summer" Music Festival as soloist of "Sofia Strings" Chamber Ensemble under the direction of Nayden Todorov.
