WHAT'S NEW

This page just serves as a noticeboard of sorts. I suppose this page will be updated more often than the rest.

* 14/11/99 - OH BOY! Look when the last update was!
* 14/11/99 - I've already finished my exams! On holidays now, but still as busy as ever.
Here's a list of stuff that I'll be involved in:

    FLUTE and PIANO RECITAL

The second recital I will be putting up so far (the first one's pretty disastrous).
All these are just for the experience of playing in public.

    Date: Saturday, 18th December 1999
    Venue: Borders Bookstore, Singapore
                Music Atrium
    Time: 7pm

    Repertoire:

    *    First movement from Sonata "La Flute de Pan" - Jules Mouquet
    *    Third movement from Sonata for Flute and Piano - Sergei Prokofiev
    *    Fantaisie for Flute and Piano - Gabriel Faure
    *    First movement from Piccolo Concerto - Lowell Liebermann
    *    Third movement from Piccolo Concerto - Lowell Liebermann
    *    Gymnopedies 3 and 1 (in that order!) - Erik Satie
    *    Rumanian Folk Dances - Bela Bartok
    *    Sleigh Ride - Leroy Anderson
    *    Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas! - Traditional
    *    Final movement from Concerto in E minor for Violin, transcribed for
         flute - Felix Mendelssohn

My accompanist is a fellow flautist too, she's great on the piano! She's Pauline Li Jinyue.
The recital is free and open to the (scrutiny of...) the public. Check out details of it in
    this month's Borders newsletter.

    Band performances:

University of Singapore Symphonic Bands. The performance details are as follows:

It's free! Do bring your friends and *family* along, bring a large mat and a picnic basket

And I think there's gonna be like more than a hundred people playing on stage...BIG
     logistical problem...
