Although new to the art world, Wallace has shown her work to elementary students and teachers and exhibited at ECU as well as through the Ada Area Artists Association, of which she is a member. Her portion of the scholarship will fund a class in Function, Form and Compositions in clay at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
