Steven Hoifeldt

Steve Hoifeldt is the founding choir director of Good Company! A Women's Choral Ensemble. He earned his Master of Arts degree from the University of Iowa and his Bachelor of Arts degree in vocal performance from Bethany College. Mr. Hoifeldt's choral and instrumental conducting experience includes working with the musicians of the Ames Choral Society since 1982, the Des Moines Vocal Arts Ensemble, Bethesda and St. Andrew's Lutheran Church choirs, the Ametones Barbershop Chorus, ACTORS, and the 1993 ISU extravaganza "Stars over Stars over Veisha". He has also worked with the Ballard 7th through 12th grade chorus members. In 1997 he was named "Local Treasure" by the Ames Community Arts Council (ACAC).

Voice Teacher

Mr. Hoifeldt teaches individual voice lessons. Vocal instruction is provided at three locations: his private studio in Ames, Iowa, the Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge and the Boone Campus of DMAC, where he also teaches Music Appreciation. For information call Steve Hoifeldt.232-4832.
