...the alternative source for CIT exam review!

This site has been developed as a comprehensive material review for radiologic technologists who are planning to take the Cardiovascular-Interventional Technology (CIT) advanced certification examination offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)*. It is organized according to the "Examinee Handbook" published by the ARRT, which must be requested in order to register for the exam. The three main content categories are listed below beside the "Content Categories" icon. Please read the disclaimer at the bottom of this page, then choose from one of these three categories to access the review information sections.

The information included in this site has been obtained from several different texts and other reference materials. There are differences among authors on specific subject information! I have tried to provide data that are in best agreement among the various authors of the reference materials that were consulted, as well as with my own experience. These references are considered to be the most widely accepted authorities in this field, and will most likely contain information closest to that tested in the CIT exam. Please take this into consideration if the information in these pages does not specifically agree with your experience. If my information seems really out of line, please email me! I might have just goofed! Thanks - KM!

This is an ongoing project that will be updated regularly as pages are completed. If a section seems incomplete to you, its finished version is most likely still under construction, so please check back at a later time!
