The Capital Brass is a professional brass quintet serving the Columbia South Carolina area. The Capital Brass has been in existence for over five years and has performed dozens of times in Columbia and about the state. They have played for weddings, receptions, graduation ceremonies, church programs, outdoor parties, and concert programs. In this time, the Capital Brass has built a repertoire filled with music for any occasion.

All members of the Capital Brass are experienced musicians with college music training, and all play extensively with other musical organizations in the area. In addition to these individual strengths, the Capital Brass is a permanent organization which has rehearsed and performed together for several years.

Music for a Wedding? The Capital Brass has a 'wedding set' that has been polished and performed for several years.

How about a church service? In addition to sacred and secular classical works by Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, and Gabrielli, we also play special arrangements of well known hymn tunes.

An outdoor party or ceremony? That would call for our set of patriotic songs, marches, 'pop' classics, and even ragtime!

Do you want something special? Do you have your heart set on one special wedding song? Do you know exactly the music you want for a special church service...but can't find it? No problem! The Capital Brass includes three talented arrangers who can transcribe any song for brass, or even add brass to works for choir or organ! With advance notice, the Capital Brass can play any song you pick!
