Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, and graduated from the Sofia Music High school. Studied in the Sofia Music Academy, Jerusalem Rubin Academy for Music and Dance, Brigham Young University, and The University of Kansas. Also privately, with Yanka Hekimova in Paris.
