My personal thoughts of "Inventing the Hawk"

Inventing the Hawk is a very interesting book. Different poem has different main character, different feelings and different thought. I had experienced the excitement of reading this book. Let me share my personal thoughts of this book to you.

In this book, there are many different kinds of MAIN characters, because this book contains more than 30 poems. These main characters do not only include human. It can be animals such as bees, tigers, and snakes, and even things like roses, moon, numbers and death. These different kinds of main character bring us different kind of feelings. These include the excitement of seeking woman undressed (although excited may not be the best word to describe it), the sympathy of death, and the silence of night, etc. Imagine if you can read this book in one or two hour(s) and experience all these kind of emotions in a short time, your emotion will be up and down a lot of times.

Although these poems have different kinds of main character and feeling, what Lorna Crozier talks about are relates or very common in our day to day life. Many of her poems like bee, rose, moon, death etc are so common that we may not even look at them seriously, but Lorna Crozier had look at each one of them and translate her thoughts of them to her languages.

This is what I had experienced as I read the book. I really like the way Lorna Crozier used personicfication to describe her characters in her poems. It makes the poem more interesting and lively. <\body>
