Welcome to the page about my small existance on this planet :)

The best place to start would be to tell you that my name is Kerry. I am a graduate of Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. I've been living in Ottawa, our Nation's capital for more than 4 years now and after a short stint working for Health Canada, I am now working with a large Patent/Trademark law firm called Smart&Biggar, Fethersonhaugh&Co.

MY NICKNAMES    

Well the first obvious one is EROS THE NUN. This name is a bit complicated and kinda silly. I chose EROS way back when I first got on the Net, and Eros is the Greek God of Love (cupid). "The Nun" part comes from wanting to be original when registering into certain places. My boyfriend's nickname ends in "the Monk", so that makes me "the Nun". Silly eh?

I also sometimes use the name BOETHIUS when I'm looking for a change. Boethius was an ancient greek music philosopher around the time of Pythagoras (it was also the name of my old hamster! *L*)

MY FAMILY     

Where to start....Well, I'm the youngest of three kids in my family (by quite a bit). My older brother Rob is 13 years older than me. He lives in Belleville. There is also my brother's ex-wife Lori and my two nephews, Andrew (10 years) and Matthew (6 years). My sister Julie, is 9 1/2 years older than me. She has been living in Texas for a year and just recently got married to a man named Christopher. They have 2 dogs and a cat. I think that's more work than kids sometimes! Then there's my parents. They've been happily married for 44 years now. Kinda rare in this day and age eh? Then we have my two kitties, Tigger and Zoey and my poor puppy Beeper who we just had to put to sleep recently. We had her for about 14 years and I miss her. And we can't forget our pug Snuffles who will be 4 this year and the newest addition to the family, our new pug puppy Willow who we got this February. I'm hoping to put some pictures of her up soon!

Last, but certainly not least is my wonderful husband, Isaac (and his family too). He is originally from Thunder Bay, and most of his family still lives there. We've been married for a little over 2 years now and we're still very happy!

MY HOBBIES   

Hmmm...I don't think I have too many of those. I guess I collect CD's. I have quite a collection of them. It's a standing joke with my friends and family that every time I hear a song on the radio, I seem to have that CD *L* I have a few favourite bands, but I'd have to say that U2 rises above them all. My goal is to have all their CD's. I'm almost there. I also love the Proclaimers and The Monkees. (2 highly under-rated groups in my opinion!) Also, never knock classical music! There's some excellent stuff out there. Try some Mozart or Beethoven sometime and prepare to be amazed! I also love movies. My favourite (take a look at my Scottish Page) is Braveheart. I've seen it at least 45 times by now and it keeps getting better.
