Cats Abroad

Well, how 'bout this! I actually got to see Cats in London. And Germany, too, while I was at it. You'll have to wait for the trip reports for details on that, but in the meantime here are all the wonderful pix from my big European trip. And thank you so much to all the wonderful performers who tolerated me and made the experience so memorable!


We'll start with the few pictures I have from the Stuttgart production of Cats

And now we go to London to see the Cats there.

I had to start with this one; Dad and I were staying just down the street from the Russell Hotel!



On Friday, May 11, 2001 Cats celebrated it's 20th anniversary in London. Some of the fans honoured the show by coming in costume on that day. (It was almost Rocky Horror-esque!) Here we have Snowy, littlgriz, Triskell, and Rio from the forum in home-made costumes.

Sebastian Rose (Alonzo/RumpusCat) nonchalantly talks on his cell phone while Emma Woods (Demeter swing) seems embarrassed by the attention. ("Look," said Clint, "there's Alonzo and Demeter. Get them!")



Sebastian and Emma endure the onslaught of fans with cameras while Jye Frasca (Carbucketty) tries to stay out of the way.



Now it's Jye's turn to meet the fans, and he brings Jacob Brent (Mistoffelees) with him. ("There's Carbucketty and Mistoffelees," Clint told us. "Get them!")
