Links Links Links!
There are an awful lot of Cats pages out there nowadays. My favourites are the ones with pictures, though I also like some of the fan fiction I see. So here are some of my favourites in no particular order.
Rheow is my favourite author so far. Her stories have just the right combination of Cats and Sci-Fi. Unfortunately her site seems to be terminally under construction. You can check the updates, but I am mainly holding the torch for her because she is a friend; I do not have much faith that the page will ever be restored. Sorry, Rhee.
Talis is another Sci-Fi writer. She is working on a very interesting novella set about a hundred years after the making of the video.
A big collection of fan fic that I'm trying to work my way through.
So many fan fics, so little time! Yet another large collection.
Veronikitty's Fanfic Central
The Cats cast suddenly find themselves transported to various different, sometimes inappropriate settings. The result can be very fun and interesting.
The Really Useful Group
I believe in giving credit where credit is due, however grudging. Here you will find the Really Useful Group's page which you can then follow to read about the Cats video, which, admit it, is what raised the Cats craze to its current fervour. Though I notice they have gotten a slick new look for their page. Pity when they were getting a new page designer they couldn't also have found a good proofreader.
Musicals.net
Go here and check out their Cats forum. Of all the Cats forums out there, this one is my favourite. Of course, that could be due to some of the totally cool people I have met there.
Ms. Jellicle's Cats forum
Yet another forum that I lurk at
Hui's Junkyard
Among this site's many good points is the fact that it has pix of most of the video cast, some of them quite good.
Cats About Town
The webpage of Cindy, whom I have shared most of my Broadway trips with. Or rather she shared them with me. She's got lots of cool pictures.
Forever Jellicle
Jazzcat's page, a good source of graphics
Demeta's Wicker Basket
Another site with cool stuff, with a small contribution by me.
Carryl.net
Possibly one of the most well put together fan sites I have yet seen, maintained by Feliciradeya. There's a little of everything here.
Sachmet's Cats site
An Austrian Cats fan whom I met in London, she does lovely artwork and was kind enough to draw an illustration for Of Cats and Men.
Rio's Realm of Reality
A Scottish fan who is stuck on Macavity ;~)
Keenoled's Spot in the Sun
A Swedish fan that it is has been my privilege to know and finally meet in person
The Unofficial Alonzo Appreciation Society
I fell in love with this Cat long ago, so I had to include this link
Toireasa's web page
The site of a very young Cats fan who recently went to the Heaviside Layer. Please go and sign her guest book.
Triskell's Little Cats Site
Another Austrian fan, with trip reports and fan fiction
