BRASS BAND

This site has upto date information about recent contests and forthcoming concerts . There is also a brief historyof the band and some pictures of band members.

Chapel Band is based in Chapel-en-le-Frith, a small town in the High Peak, between Buxton
(5 miles) and Glossop (10 miles)

Over the past few years the band has made good progress. In 3 years we have moved from the 4th into the 2nd section. This has been a great achievement, particularly as most of the personnel have remained the same for many years.

In the past twelve months we have been very successful in contesting and are looking forward to a new challenge in the 2nd section in the coming year.

We hope that our progress will continue in the same vein in the coming months.
