Mini
Halloween Collectible

"Come forth and join the pleasure throng,
Forget your sorrow and forget your wrong,
In one glad hour of joyous song,
To honor Hallowe'en!"
Materials/Tools Required:
STEP 1: To make the spooky
dead tree, twirl the soldering wire about 8 times height of about 6.5cm.
Then pull open some of the wires for the root and branches of the tree.
Paint the tree with black acrylic
paint and let it dry completely.

STEP
2: Roll clay into tiny balls smaller
than the size of a pea. Use
a toothpick/stylus to make grooves for the pumpkins. Insert a tiny
piece of soldering wire for the stems. Let the pumpkins dry completely and then
paint them with orange acrylic paint. Paint
the stems with brown acrylic paint. Once the paint has dried, draw a pumpkin
face on carefully.

STEP
3: Knead a little grey acrylic paint
onto the clay and shape a tombstone. Once the clay dries, write the words
“RIP”.
STEP
4: Sculpt a clay ghost by rolling
first rolling a tiny carrot shape. Then press top portion of the carrot shape
out making it look like a skirt which would form the base of your ghost. Roll 2
more tiny carrot shapes and attach to your ghost for the hands. Press it into
the ghost body. To smooth any cracks or fingerprint marks, stroke the clay by
dabbing little water onto your fingers. Once you are satisfied with your
sculpted ghost, let it dry completely. Use a black ink pen to draw 2 tiny dots
for the eyes.
STEP
5: Roll a ball of clay and flatten it
to make the base for your collectible. Push the dead tree slightly at an angle
into the clay base. Now let the base dry. Apply glue all around the base and
sprinkle oregano leaves completely covering the base. Let the base dry
completely. Then glue on the pumpkins, tombstone, wooden cross and ghost onto the base
carefully.
