Mini Ribbon Flowers

Materials/Tools Required:
small ribbon
red plastic stamen ( you can get this in flower craft shops)
small bead vase
craft wire
scissors
tacky glue
florist wire
green florist tape
Just as a variation to mini paper flowers,
you can make this really easy mini ribbon flowers in a jiffy. This ribbon
flowers
can also be used filler flowers in flower arrangements or
cascading wedding bouquets.
STEP 1: Hold one plastic stamen in
your hand and make 6 small loops of ribbon around the stamen. Ensure that you
hold it tightly while making the loops and tie each flower
securely with a craft wire. Then insert a florist wire for the stem
and cover with green florist tape. Make about 6 ribbon
flowers or more if preferred.

STEP 2: For the red filler
flowers in the arrangement, gather about 12 red stamens and tie them securely
with a florist
wire. Cut the ends and glue them into the arrangement
strategically. You can make as many bunches as you want to insert
into the arrangement. These bunches can also be used in
wreaths or any other flower arrangements that you might like
to make.
