A:Simply put a micronation is ,as the word implies, a small Nation.Because of the size of our community is Stormark a micronation.Stormark is not a Role Playing Game or a hobby but a real national community with real citizens and a real government counting itself among the community of Nations.
Q:How can you have a Nation without land?
A:In the popular mind Nation and State are often confused.We are not a State for we do not have complete control over a territory and the monopoly on the legitimate exercise of violent force.A Nation is simply a group of people who identify them as such organized under a single,usually independent, government.

A:The aim and intention of Stormark is to be a place for people interested in Viking History who would like to develop and maintain a Viking Nation-i.e. a Nation with Viking traditions,
customs,and laws(of course adopted to modern standards.For example:There are no Thralls(=slaves) and no do-it-yourself-justice in Stormark.

A:Vikings were warriors from Scandinavia(Norway,Sweden,Denmark) who in the years between 800 AD and 1050 AD colonized,raided and traded the lengths of the coasts and islands of Europe and North America.

A:Because of their huge and fascinating legacy and their exceptional achievements.The Vikings were magnificent seafarers,explores,traders,
artists and poets.We find the Viking Age one of the most exciting periods in history.

A:Stormark was founded on August 8,2002 as the Empire of Kruoningha a nation building project.On November 15 of that year Kruoningha was transformed into a Viking Nation and its name was changed into Viking Empire of Kruoningha.On December 4,2002
the Nation adopted a more Nordic name and became the Viking Empire of Stormark.

A:The origin of the name Stormark is Danish/Norwegian.
Stor- means:big,large,great,grand.

A:No,it's My Viking Name.Every full Stormarkian citizen bears a Viking Name.
Q:Why are you called Harald Thorstein the Generous Giver?
A:Harald because of King Harald Fairhair who united Norway from numerous little kingdoms into one country.Thorstein was chosen by Me because it's derived from the Norse god Thor,one of the most popular gods of the Viking Age.The "the Generous Giver"-part of My name was bestowed upon Me,by HM David I Northworthy Beckford,the current King of the Royal Court of Middarthian-Derby in November 2002 after I had handed Him,then Arch Duke of Norworthy,the Kingdom of Middarthian.
