This is the official statement regarding the Viking Empire of Stormark's foreign policy.
Let it be known:
That the Viking Empire of Stormark shall be open to diplomatic relations with other serious and civilized micronations that meet its criteria for recognition,and ;
That His Imperial Majesty's Government defines a micronation as follows:
A community with some or all elements of nationhood maintained in the manner of sovereign state,either in the hope of achieving statehood or of accuratly simulating a sovereign state,and;
That in general His Imperial Majesty's Government will recognize those micronations that:
*have a permanent existence for at least four(4)months,and
*publicly provide information on its government,society and population,and;
*do not engage in fraudulent activities,including but not limited to:counterfeit citizenship records ("paper dolls")and myth presented as fact,and;
*have citizens who are in permanent contact with each other,either by telephone, electronic means or in person,and;
*are under the control of an effective government,and;
*do not violate basic human rights,and;
*have representatives who act,speak and write in a civilized manner at all times,and;
*do not engage in hacking and other forms of cybervandalism,and;
*do not utter official statements of racism,war,threat of war,discrimination and hatred,and;
That His Imperial Majesty Government shall only grant recognition by Treaty,and the contents of such Treaty shall be composed on a case-by-case basis.
