1. Writing
I like to write stories,
reviews... and in my occasional free time, poems.
One of my favorites stories is quite a science fiction
themed, but not its main story. It's about how mankind have managed
to survive several centuries in space... only to
find out that they are quite alone, as if they were the only intelligent
life
form in their little part of the universe.
What they didn't know, that someone was quite responsible for making the
area
appearing lack of intelligence, as they had removed
most of the inhabitants to elsewhere.
Here's a preview chapter
here at this link.
I'm also a manager of a small group called 'Ina_Sci-fi',
a group of Indonesian and Bahasa Indonesia speakers
who happens to like science fiction and the related stuffs.
2. Computer games
Computer gaming is relatively
a new social phenomena which have been observed for the last 10 years.
It's particularly a game
(something you play with a set of rules, and a particular objective such
as beating an opponent or completing a puzzle) played with a computer.
The opponent in this case can be either a time-imposed limit or a computer
artificial intelligence.
I start playing computer
since I was six, and I began to explore more of them when I was seven.
When I was nine, my father
thought me about editing and making batch files, and from there I began
to develop some computer technical skills.
Don't take me too wrong,
I'm no computer expert or technician. It's just that if I was playing
(or running) a game and it didn't work, I would try to find and solve the
problem before calling any expert.
Besides, my major is psychology.
3. Bible study
Actually, this is not an
hobby, but something I can't live without. I'm a Christian and I
always try to maintain a healthy
relationship with my Creator.
Praying and learning the Word is one way of doing so. Doing what
I've learn is also
another.
